          Every year world tourism organization (UNWTO) complies a report with international tourist arrivals for every country. This is the most list of most visited countries in the world based on their recent report.

          Here are the top 10 most visited countries according to UNWTO listed.

1.France : 89 Million Visitors  

               It's no surprise that France has topped the chart over and over again to be the number one tourist destination in the world. Paris is the most famous city in the world, and the southern French coast is a hotspot for tourists from Europe every summer.

             There's plenty here for the culture vultures, from the famous Eiffel Tower in Paris to the castle of Loire Valley and wineries in Bordeaux.

2.United States : 79 Million Visitors 

            Stretching from California in the west to New York in the east, the United States of America covers an area of 3.79 million square miles. That's a whole lot of country to explore! It has been at the top of the list of most traveled countries for years.

 U.S. is as diverse as it is huge. with expansive national parks and vibrant cities visited by foreign tourists, local visitors, and business travelers alike. The beauty ofThe America lies in its backcountry. Yosemite and Grand Canyon National Parks are some of the best national parks in the US.

3.Spain : 84 Million Visitors 

         With white-washed towns, traditional flamenco tablaos, and centuries-old cathedrals, Spain is easily one of the most visited countries in the world thanks to its historical treasures and cultural heritage. In 2018, Spain experienced the biggest increase in international arrivals (among the 10 most visited countries) compared to the previous year.

               There is so much more to Spain than just pretty beaches. Visit impressive museums in the capital city of Madrid. Admire eclectic architecture and art in vibrant Barcelona, feast on paella in Valencia, and fall in love with traditional Granada.  

4.Germany : 40 Million Visitors 

        Many of Germany's major cities are tourist magnets. Especially in festival season, they draw in visitors with their Christmas markets. Best festivals and summer events.

        Munich's Oktoberfest itself accounts for a large percentage of the annual visitors, while Berlin and Frankfurt attract mainly European city lovers.

5.Mexico : 45 Million Visitors

6.China : 66 Million Visitors 

        It is easy to see how China has become one of the top tourist destinations.Since it opened its doors to tourism, the number of visitors to China has skyrocketed, largely due to an increase in global business dealings and cultural exchange. and it doesn't look like that's going to stop anytime soon.

         China's culture and architectural feats are the top reasons to visit. China's awesome and monumental ancient treasures exceed all other countries for size and number, from ancient places to the great wall, city wall, buried armies, canals, pagodas, temples, and giant Buddhas.

7.Turkey : 51 Million Visitors 

        Turkey has climbed since last year to come up on the list of the top 10 most visited countries in the world.Historical ruins, bustling cities, beautiful beaches, mountains, shopping, excellent foods, and all at an affordable price are reasons to visit Turkey.

         The most popular tourist attraction in Turkey is known to be the Blue Mosque, owing to its captivating blue tiles and gorgeous architecture. Another popular location is the Cotton Castle Hot Springs in Turkey, also called Pamukkale and located on the southwest coast.

8.Italy : Million Visitors 

      As far as tourism trends go, we predict that Italy's tourism numbers will only keep rising.

9.United Kingdom : 39 Million Visitors 

      One of the most powerful states in the world. The UK is flooded with tourists throughout the year.
